Claiming in the App

Once your Relay is connected to your network, you need to claim it in the Vitesse app. This links the device to your organization.

Before You Claim

Make sure:

  • Both eth0 (IT) and eth1 (OT) show Connected in Network Statistics
  • You have your Relay ID (copied from the Device Settings page)
  • You have a Vitesse account at app.vitesse.dev

Step 1 - Sign Up or Sign In

  1. From the same local network as your Relay, go to app.vitesse.dev.
  2. Sign up for a new account, or sign in with Google, Microsoft, or email.

Step 2 - Disconnect from the Setup Wi‑Fi

Switch your computer back to your normal Wi‑Fi network. You don’t need to stay connected to the Relay’s setup hotspot anymore.

Step 3 - Claim the Relay

On the home page, wait a moment for your new Relay to show up in the interface. You’ll see a banner at the top of the entity grid:

Click + Claim next to your Relay. It’s now part of your organization.

Step 4 - You’re Done!

Your Relay is now live in the app. You can:
